DCRA is a not for profit, member based organisation, that seeks to:
- Build a strong, unified voice for Darwin CBD retailers, with a particular focus on sole trades and small to medium business.
- Collaborate and consult with key stakeholders to support CBD commitments and strategies.
- Work together with retailers and stakeholders to support CBD commercial growth
- Promote Darwin city as an enjoyable, safe and vibrant shopping and dining destination.
As a DCRA member, you will enjoy a range of benefits, including but not limited to:
- Advocation and stakeholder engagement on behalf of retailers, for matters affecting retailers.
- Regular communications on a range of relevant local and industry matters and opportunities.
- Access to Australian Retailers Association (ARA) insights, publications and resources
Participation in CBD surveys and data collection, to support activities and change. - Local retail representation on the DCRA Committee, along with an ARA representative
Use of DCRA office space as required. - Quarterly DCRA member networking events
Regular professional development workshops. - Collaborative advertising and marketing opportunities.
- Inclusion in various activation events throughout the city, eg at Christmas and Easter.
